At a glance
TapShift does not require an account and does not ask for your name, address, phone number, or contacts. Game progress and settings are stored locally on your device. Apple processes purchases, and Google AdMob provides advertisements.
Information stored by TapShift
TapShift stores the following information locally on your device:
- game progress, scores, statistics, achievements, and challenge progress;
- power-up inventory and purchase entitlements; and
- gameplay preferences such as sound, music, and haptic settings.
This local information is used to operate the game and restore your progress. It is not uploaded to a TapShift account or developer-operated server.
Advertising
TapShift uses Google AdMob to provide interstitial and rewarded advertisements. Depending on your device settings, region, and consent choices, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as:
- device and app information;
- IP address and approximate location derived from it;
- advertising identifiers where permitted;
- advertisement views, clicks, and interactions; and
- diagnostic and performance information.
Where legally required, TapShift requests your consent before serving personalized advertising. You may receive non-personalized or limited advertisements when consent is not provided or personalization is unavailable.

In-app purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. TapShift receives product and transaction status information needed to complete the purchase and provide the purchased items. The developer does not receive or store your payment-card details.
Apple's handling of purchase and account information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Legal bases for processing
Where applicable, information is processed to provide the game and purchases you request, to maintain the security and reliability of the service, and—where required—based on your consent for advertising. You may withdraw advertising consent through the privacy options made available in the app or on your device, where applicable.
Sharing and international processing
TapShift does not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by Apple, Google, and their service providers as described above. These providers may process information in countries other than your own and apply their own safeguards for international transfers.
Data retention and deletion
Locally stored TapShift data remains on your device until the app data is cleared or the app is removed. Apple and Google retain information according to their own policies and legal obligations. Because TapShift does not maintain user accounts or a developer-operated player database, the developer generally cannot identify or retrieve an individual player's locally stored game data.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. Requests concerning information controlled directly by Apple or Google should be submitted to the relevant provider. For questions about TapShift, contact the developer using the email below.
Children's privacy
TapShift is not specifically directed to children under 13. The game does not knowingly request personal information directly from children. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal information may contact the developer.
Security
Reasonable measures are used to protect information handled by the game. However, no application, device, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when TapShift's features, service providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
